Chapter 1: No Matter What!
It was september 3, 2009. I was walking to the bus stop.
Is this really a good choice? I thought to myself, Should I have left every one; all my best friends in order to have a very small chance to see him again? I stopped and looked up at the sky above, Is this really ok?
At that moment I the bus cane. The door opened and I saw the bus driver. I looked at the bus drver for a few seconds and hesitantly got on the bus.
The bus wasn't as loud as should have been. I think there were only freshmans on the bus that's why it wasn't as loud. I walked down the aile looking for an empty seat. I passed by many happy and many nervous faces, until I found an empty seat.
I sat down feeling a little relieved. I put my bag next to me. Curiously, I looked at the seat across from me. There was a guy sitting there by himself, reading. He had black hair, and blue eyes, just like my dream guy. I couldn't help but stare at him, he was just to beautiful.
Then I see this guy walking down the aile, "Hey TORI!" he said to the beautiful boy across from me. The beautiful boy turned away from his book and looked at the one standing in aile, "Nicholas....? What are you....doing here?''
That name Nicholas. The same name as the same person I came here for ; the person I left all my best friends, to find.
That can't be him...can it?
"That's not the point. The point is that I'm here and there's nothing you can do to stop me!" Nicholas said.
"Fine," Tori said as he smiled slightly, "...then don't bother me." Then his face go back into the book.
Nicholas took the open seat next to me. This was my oppurtunity to see if it was really him. He was looking at me for a few minutes. I pretended that I wasn't paying attention (but I was).
I still got a good look at him, though. His short brown hair, it was the same as his. i knew it was him as soon as I looked at his eyes.
Then all of sudden, "Is your name...Mia... by any chance?" he said. My heart was beating really fast as if it was going to come out.
"Yes...yes it is,'' I said, "How do you know my name?" I asked as if I didn' know.
"Well my name is Nicholas, and I think that we used to be in the same class for the 4th grade."
"What school did you go to?" I asked.
"P.S 85."
"Me...too. Wait...so you're that Nicholas? What happened to you glasses?"
"I got contacts."
"Hearing Aids?"
"I took them off on valentines day, remember, during the dance?"
"Right..."Then it became awfully silent. It was so very awkward.
"You...haven't changed at all you know?" he said breaking the silence.
''Really? I thought I did..."
"Nope." As he said that I looked back across to Tori, "Who is that guy, just out of
curiousity?"
"Oh him? A childhood friend, one of my closest friends, actually. Do you want to meet him?" "Sure why not?" He turned to him and said, "Hey Tori!? Do you remember the girl I told you about? The one from the 4th grade?"
"Yeah sure..." he said still looking at his book.
"Well this is her..." he said pointing to me.
"Hi nice to meet you...my name is Mia."
"This... is her?? Wow Nicholas, you made friends with such a retarded looking girl. how did you get into this school in the first place?"
Son of bitch, I started to say,"Who the hell told you---" Then I got interupted.
"Shut the hell up, Tori. You don't even know her and your judging her." He said with his head down, "That's your problem, you always judge people without knowing them.''
"Oh just be quiet, you people are annoying."
"Fine." He looked at me and said, "I really don't know why he's being mean."
"Neither do I, but one things for sure I don't want to find out, he seems very cruel."
''He's nice...in his own ways."
That can't be true! Just look how mean he was to me! He seems like to much of a moron to be nice! As I was thinking that we had just arrived to our new school. And later, I found out I was way wrong about my claim earlier.

I went to my home room, seeing no Nicholas. I sat down in a seat and saw Tori walk into the classroom. And sat down right next to me.
''What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"This is my Homeroom, what's it to you?" He asked back.
"Never Mind, just don't talk to me." I said looking at the black board. Then the teacher came in. He had glasses and brown hair. He was very tall too.
"Hello everyone!" He said, "My name is Mr.Carey! And I'm not only your homeroom teacher I'm also a Global history teacher. And I'll be teaching some of you."
He seems very nice. He passed out our schedules. And apparently had his class first. I looked over at Tori's schedule and saw that he had Mr. Carey first at well. I checked what he had next and what I had next and it was the same. Our whole schedule was the same.
I remember telling myself, It can't possibably get any worse. Then during class Mr.Carey said something horrible, "For this year, I'll be giving you people partners for the rest of the year because to me, it's too annoying to keep picking different parteners for the whole year."
Ok that wasn't the horrible part, I'm already used to that, who he paired me up with was the bad part, "Mia...You're going to be paired up with...Tori."
What the HELL? was my intial reaction, but I nodded to Mr.Carey and he went on.
After he was done reading the names of the partners, class was over.
Tori came up to me and said,"See you later, my retarded partner." as he walked up, heading to our next class.
"shut up!" I whispered.
"EH? what did you say moron?" He said.
I ran up to him and punched him. "I said to SHUT THE HELL UP!" he was on the ground now surprised of what happened. I walked away, without looking back, feeling oh so satisfied.
If he wants to make fun of me, then FINE! I DON'T CARE! But He'll have to pay for it....
He thinks he's so smart then I'll just have to prove I'm as smart as him...NO MATTER
